I am representing a character through his daily life. Visualizing how his mental health is taking over and he can’t control it. Society tries to lock him up and contain his lunacy but he cant help the way he is because of his illness. We are representing the message Roger Waters is portraying in the lyrics of the song, relating to his audience and making them not feel alone.
The song is about Syd Barrett, former Floyd guitarist who suffered from schizophrenia.The lyrics paint a picture of a person who has lost touch with reality and is being haunted by their own thoughts.
Adding conventional colors for characters and backgrounds while infusing vibrant colors inspired by Pink Floyd's album covers to achieve a visually compelling contrast when morphs appear throughout the animation.
I am visualizing illustrations that capture the essence of London in the late 60s, focusing on character fashion, interior design, and architecture.I wanted to go for a messy and sketchy illustration for the character design and the backgound design and morphing.
